Kevin Peyton is the Executive Director of Joshua’s Place, a community outreach organization in South Lebanon, Ohio. Joshua’s Place was founded in 2008 by Rivers Crossing Community Church as a simple food pantry with a significant distinction. The distinction was that the church wanted to be in relationship with the people they served and not just provide material goods. Overtime this commitment to building relationships has grown Joshua’s Place from 10 volunteers serving 15 families to over 250 volunteers serving thousands of families around Warren County. Joshua’s Place now resides in a 24,000 square foot former elementary school that has been repurposed into a community center. It shares this space with the Village Community church, which Kevin also pastors.
Kevin has been married to his wife Nona for 29 years and has two adult children, Allison 25 and Jacob 22. He is a self-described “Pastor-preneur” as he still maintains interest in the marketplace through his restaurant consulting and development company. He has served on several non-profit boards focused on breaking the cycle of poverty both domestically and internationally.
